Born Kingston, St Andrew. Jamaica July 19, 1955. Jamaican Schools: Immaculate Conception. Mount Alvernia. Campion College. 1969 -- 1973 Introduced to Jamaican shamanism with Bredda Man, an elder from the Maroon Community in Jamaica. 1973 -- 1990 Travel and Study with Kabbalists and Aboriginal Elders During this time Chet traveled and studied with Gabu Ted Thomas, Geezis Mokwha, Bredda Man, and other native teachers. Studied kabbalah with Zev ben Shimon Halevi and his school in London. Founded the Moss Side Alexander Foundation, a non profit organization, training West Indians in Youth and Community Work. The center was set up funded and run by Chet and later continued on by his students. This center was featured on National TV and in the local media in Manchester. During these formative years Chet worked intensively as a counselor for Social Services and local West Indian Community. Completed Bachelors degree in Art and Drama at Manchester University in Manchester UK. Activities organized by the Center The Martial Arts Temple A martial arts organization was founded and established in Jamaica and Manchester UK. This school grew to establish over 30 local classes in Centers throughout Manchester, UK. The Manchester City Football Club Sports and Social Evenings. These events raised money for local charities and were organized in conjunction with the Manchester City FC, the Greater Manchester Youth and Community Service, Social Services and the Alexander Foundation. Manchester City Police Community Sports Events. These quarterly trips from Manchester to London were funded and manned by the Greater Manchester City Police and the Alexander Foundation to promote youth participation in National Sporting events. Jamaican Jewish Liaison. This event was organized by the Alexander Foundation and local Jewish Institutions. Some of the events organized in this program were the Jamaican Jewish Evening and an ongoing lecture program. Local Rabbis, doctors and the Lord Mayor of Manchester made educational presentations to local West Indian youth members of the Alexander Foundation. Other Alexander Foundation Annual Events and Ongoing Training. West Indian Carnival, Roots Festival, Annual Chinese New Year celebrations. Quarterly Courses for Social Services staff and clients. Private Counseling. Art Exhibitions & Dance Performances Organized Art Exhibitions with well known Jamaican Personality, Vida Menzies at the Commonwealth Institute in London. Vida also took part in the Dance Mime retreat organized by the Alexander Foundation. Dance performances were organized and presented to the local communities through Manchester University. These included the Ritual performance "Amen, Crow said, Amen." by Chet Alexander and "Changing Woman" by the world famous Mime and Dance performer, Annie Stainer. 1990 -- Present Living and working in the USA Established the Mine Site Reclamation Project. Planting over 20,000 trees on abandoned Mine Sites throughout the USA and Canada. Established the Native American Teaching Program on the Miccosukee Reservation. Established the Rainbow Belt School of Insight. Studying with Native Elders, Teaching classes and counseling at centers throughout Miami and Fort Lauderdale. Classes also being taught in the UK and Jamaica. Published the Teachings of the RBTL in the first book, John Crow Speaks, Earth teachings of the Jamaican Elders.
