Assets close to Rs 2,00,000 Cr added to MF houses

New Delhi, 3 Jan (ANI): Assets close to Rs 2,00,000 crore have been added to the kitty of mutual fund houses in the country in 2007. And this is being attributed to the growing investors' interest in equities. The total assets under management grew by over 60 per cent to over Rs 5,20,000 crore at the end of December, 2007 from Rs 3,21,468.20 crore a year ago. The top five fund houses -- Reliance MF, UTI MF, ICICI Pru, HDFC and Franklin Templeton contributed nearly half of the gain.
