My First Head-on Collision - SCCA PRO-7 Race at Cal Speedway

Be sure to watch "First Lap Head-on Collision" for this same clip with the actual incident played at full speed instead of half-speed slo-mo. This is the start of the opening race of the 2007 SCCA PRO-7 regional class at California Speedway. After a great start I was coming off the oval through turns three and four when I was punted from behind (still trying to figure out who that was!) which spun me around 270 degrees. That set me up with a front row seat to watch race go by, when the next car to come around the corner had no where to go but drive straight into my car. OOUCH! No drivers injured, but a few cars will need some work before the next race. Also,special thanks goes out to the all workers for a great response to the incident.
