Okay, so yeah. I'm a cowgirl all the way. And I mean, all the way. I love riding Western, I love the tack, the horses, the roughness of it, toughing out the open land as opposed to riding in the field. However, I have ALWAYS had a fascination with jumping. Even with my barrel horse I would clear jumps that didn't show how short her legs were (she loved it as much as I did). So eventually I learned to showjump myself, and competed, and even toured once, thanks to my boyfriend, and now I skim TV guides for showjumping. So now I've made a showjumping mix of the Spruce Meadows Stakes. Happy good fun times! $350000 prize - biggest purse in showjumping history. Winner is showjumper Eric Lamaze on his bay stallion Hickstead. An AMAZING horse-rider match. You can tell he loves the horse and the horse loves him. What's more is this guy can actually RIDE. His elbows don't flail, his legs stay firmly in possition. I love this guy and his horse! Enjoy the video!
