Nike SPARQ Training. music: theknowledgist Most people in the State of Oregon think of the legendary University of Oregon basketball gym when they hear "The Pit". Deep in the heart of Cincinnati, OH, lies a football lair where fans cheer for a hard earned 7 points, where the brightest lights shine once a week- only on Friday nights, and where a tirade of purple floods the 12,000 seats that is "The Pit" at Elder High School. The scene is magical and it's not a hometown secret. In 2001 "The Pit" at Elder was voted one of the 10 best places in the country to watch a high school football game by USA Today. The Central Truck was in awe of the magnificent turf masterpiece as they cruised onto the campus of the Panthers, to test the 4th and final team of the GCL (Greater Catholic League). Sixty four Panthers players laced up their cleats to SPARQ Test and show why Elder High School is a coveted member of the "League of Champions."
