Looks to me like this driver was clean. He could have hopped the curb a little more at the apex of turn 4, but he was nailed from behind. I've had to go to the grass here myself, but going to the outside of turn 3 is often a very fruitful pass.

I passed all the cars cleanly and while I drove in deep I was in complete control. If you watch the video closely (perhaps watch the other clip that plays at full speed) you will see that I was hit from behind by another over anxious driver who got in too deep and too hot. You do not see me running into the back of the car in front of me...

Need to ask- whee did you expect the cars that were ahead of you to go? Stuffing it in deep to a corner most often leads to exactly what you got.

Is everyone driving a 1st gen RX-7? Or is it just me.

how whould i get into this kind of racing?
SurfCityRacer (July 8th, 2008 @ 3:24 am)
It was enough of a head on collision! I would guess I got hit at about 40mph or better as we typically take that corner at 50 or so. Granted it was not two cars closing at speed but it was as close as I would ant to get.

Thats not really a head on collision like one would expect but... sucks for u dude :)
