I love her. I still cannot figure why she hasn't done more French medieval music. Ever heard Anonymous 4's Le Bele Marie CD? Now that's the stuff I would love to hear her sing. But then again, who am I to complain? My beloved Dame hasn't recorded anythign that I don't like so far, so I say - rock on! ;)

Nothing is wrong with Wagner. It's just that I don't like having to imagine the notes the soprano is supposed to be singing.

Agreeing with earlier posts - there's no way a singer could be equal to the requirements of singing at say the Opera House, and generate a pure (i.e. non vibrato) sound without serious damage being done eventually. Vibrato free sound is neither natural nor desirable - Kirkby actually has a small, narrow vibrato even here if you listen close. However - there is a massive difference between healthy vibrato or 'spin' and wobble..
