They treated her with antibiotics and a popular medication used by vets for dogs, a dewormer...although the fibers are NOT worms!! They are fibers that closely resemble those in plants and there may even be a link between plants and morgellons. The episode on DHC aired 10/13/08 and was titled "Nothing to Sneeze At" if anyone is interested.

I JUST watched an episode of Mystery ER on the Discovery Health Channel about a woman who was an ICU/ER NURSE and went undiagnosed with this for years. There was a nurse practitioner named Ginger Savely that appeard on the news in Ausitn Texas that mentioned this disease. And has now seen multiple cases and can diagnose after a few short tests. The lady went to Texas and was diagnosed with this morgellons. She also tested positive for lymes disease, they found a connection between the two.
