I love this scene, but there are way too many continuity issues with the scene. The skylark and the mustang suffer heavy damage during the chase, but on certain scenes, like that downhill jump, the grilles of the cars are smashed in....but the next scene shows the grilles are okay again. just pointing that out. i still think it great though.

I'll be damned!! you're right about the 3 holer badges. Good eyesights on that one, chompy. i had to see it twice!!!

No, after a closer look, I a saw that it was a 68 Special. The "3-holer" badges on the fender gave it away.

Right..its a '68....and it almost flew completely over when both cars jumped that downward hill. KILLA!!!!

The car doing the chasing is a 68/69 Buick Skylark. It looks like it was filmed in and around Montreal.

Was this filmed in Canada? A lot like H.B. Halicki's 1974 "Gone in 60 Seconds", except with a black Mustang fastback instead of a yellow one.
