pray4me-Jesus told me persecution is him trying to make you loose your salvation, pray for me, Holy Ghost baptizm feels like Body your perfect size coming in, electricity caressing penus, spiking, hair loss, itching in scalp, face bags and sags cause muscles tithen at instant you wink, turn, head, in vision Jesus came down and pointed like lighted needle thru heart, felt hole, all desire to live for Jesus drained out, this is teasing by God to persecute, gum desease, dreams of family in hell

It is so easily noticed in everything written about Elvin......nothing negative! Thank you everyone+JazzVideoGuy I saw him in Boston in '65 (3 nights too!) He was still with Garrison, 'Trane and Tyner. I got an early seat close to Elvin. AN UNFORGETABLE SPECTACLE!

Elvin is great. He dosesn't just play the drums, he takes the musicians on an adventure. With several of elvins tunes, I drew out his playing with a line. The line raised with intensity, and lowered when the playing became more placid. The final result- there were mountains, valleys, plains- the playing went all over the place! He literally did take them on an adventure, unlike most of the drummers today. RIP

For the thousandth time, thanks JazzVideoGuy! Elvin is probably the most innovative and influential drummer of the last 50 years. It has been written that he almost single-handedly expanded the nature, role and function of the drummer in jazz ensemble playing from time-keeper to improvisor, equal to that of the front line horns and piano. As Leonard Feather once exhorted up and coming drummers of all musical styles - "Dig Elvin!" By the way, I am a JazzDJGuy on WPFW 89.3 FM in Washington DC.
