I think it is not the matter of running "out of breath". You do not lose fitness at 46 provided you workout regularly (which Jon certainly does). I suspect that he does not run so much around the stage in order to save his knees. I read in one of the interviews and herd in live chat from 2000 that he had some problems with his knee and was even thinking about surgery. How it ended, I do not know.

09iloveaxl- Who the hell cares about the stage?? Its about the music. But in case your wondering, they've changed their stage since then, and it is amazing looking. I went to a concert in February, and i was mesmerized. It must of cost them alot of money, just like you wanted.
