i had a few "can't get that out of my head" experiences over the years. some images that are exposed to young minds seem to persist for decades. I had a collection of remembered images from when i was about 10 years old. Mainly bizarre 70's TV programs. I have forgotten most over things from all those years ago, but i managed to retain character names or soundtrack titles.

wow...for years ive had this vivid black and white picture in my head of a crazy looking scientist and this female robot in my head. i saw it in a book when i was about 7 and i havent been able to find it since, i didnt know what the film was called or anything! then, randomly today, i heard the name Fritz Lang mentioned on TV and i just froze! it clicked straight away and now i found it lol! looks a cool movie! and that Quivver track is just amazing, i love John Graham!

Yummy thanks Mate --I must admit that I love the (GHASP) Georgio Moroder version as it turned me on to this film in all its incarnations & to silent cinema in general.-fyi--check out this, open altavista (a search eng.)& hunt for metropolis-cheers!

Damn, John Graham used an excerpt of Dark City (Kiether SUTHERLAND's voice of the beginning); but the song suits well the images :-)

I found a poster in an insane asylum turned museum. I thought of stealing it.

Is that robot on display anywhere?

Classy video! It's been so long since I've seen this--I'm ordering the DVD now; Fritz Lang was the GREATEST!

Two hours is long to you. Why some films out there last as long as five and a half hours, take 1900 as an example.
