This is the time when we had the best music and the best looking dudes. I love it. Long live the 60's.

If The Renegades did not stop writing their own songs after Gibson left the band, why did they record only songs written by other songwriters? Why did The Renegades tell the Finnish media in late 1990's that Dedys Gibson has past away?

The Renegades did not stop writing their own songs. I had it straight from Ian Mallett who was still writing songs up until his untimely death last year. Several songs were collaborations and listed simply as by the Renegades. As far as I know, Denys Gibson is not dead, at least he was not dead before Ian died.

To "Grimblemonkey": Please confirm if Denys Gibson is really alive and ask him who really composed the Renegades songs - Denys Gibson or Kim Brown.

potevate fare dei primi piani a Kim Brown anzichè a quelle ragazzine urlanti!!

When Brown, Mallet and Johnsson were touring in Finland in 1997 a newspaper article about The Renegades said (info from the band) that Denys Gibson has past away. When Denys Gibson left the band in 1966 the Renegades stopped writing their own songs. There was an article on a Finnish magazine about Kim Brown a few years ago. On the article Kim Brown stated that he was really the one who wrote songs. I think it is not true. It's Denys Gibson! Please contact Gibson and ask his opinion.

You complete idiot. I can confirm that Denys Gibson is alive and well (at least he was when I spoke to him on the telephone 2 hours ago). Making such random and false statements is both foolish and potentially distressing. You should get your facts straight before posting such gibberish.
